I have been working as a methodologist at Mozaika School for two years. I studied at ENU, specializing in educational psychology.
What strengths do you need in your work?
As an educational methodologist, the following strengths are important:
Responsibility – working with documentation requires attention to detail and strict compliance with regulatory requirements. Mistakes in reports or attachments can affect adherence to educational standards.
Attention to detail and thoroughness – it is necessary to carefully check documents, monitor legislative updates, and promptly make corrections.
Confidence – a methodologist must be competent in regulations and educational standards.
Honesty and objectivity – ensuring transparency in documentation and avoiding a purely formal approach is crucial.
High work capacity – working with documentation requires focus and the ability to efficiently process a large amount of information within tight deadlines.
Organization and systematic thinking – a methodologist must structure data properly, consider all requirements, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Skills in working with regulatory documents – it is important to understand educational legislation, interpret it, and apply it in practice.
What do you do as a methodologist at Mozaika?
I organize and support the educational process in accordance with regulatory requirements. My work covers several key areas:
1. Documentation – developing and updating curricula, plans, and methodological recommendations in line with state educational standards.
2. Quality control – analyzing the educational process, evaluating results, and preparing reports.
3. Methodological support for teachers – assisting with the implementation of modern teaching methods, organizing trainings and consultations.
4. Adapting programs for children with special educational needs – developing and adjusting materials for inclusive learning.
5. Interaction with government bodies and partners – ensuring the educational process meets legal requirements and preparing necessary documentation.
My goal is to create an effective methodological system that helps teachers and students reach their potential in a comfortable learning environment.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What inspires me most is the love for children and the opportunity to make their learning interesting, accessible, and effective. Methodological work is a constant journey forward — searching for new approaches, being creative, and improving. It pushes me to find solutions to various challenges and discover innovative teaching and adaptation methods.
I enjoy working in an environment where every day brings new opportunities for growth — both for children and teachers.
What are the main challenges for a young specialist in this role?
The main challenges for a young methodologist are a lack of experience and insufficient methodological training. It’s important not only to know educational standards and regulatory requirements but also to apply them correctly in practice.
Initially, it can be difficult to organize large volumes of information, plan methodological work efficiently, and confidently advise teachers. Beginners also need to quickly develop skills in analyzing educational processes, adapting materials to the needs of children with SEN, and collaborating with various participants in the educational process.
However, all these challenges can be overcome through learning, continuous self-development, and support from experienced colleagues. The key is to be open to new ideas, not afraid to ask questions, and strive to improve professional skills.

I would recommend it. A good educator needs to be a teacher, a consultant, a psychologist, and an actor all in one — and that’s exactly what we teach here!
