Hello, I’m Anna!

I have been working as a teacher at Mozaika Warsaw for 2 years. In addition to completing my higher education at Ivan Franko Drohobych Pedagogical University, I am furthering my qualifications in Poland at Szkoła Wyższa im. Pawła Włodkowica, specializing in Special Pedagogy – Education and Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities.

What strengths do you need in your work?

In my work, it is essential to pay attention to each student’s needs, be patient, and know how to wait for results even after putting in significant effort with a child. Stress resilience is also very important.

What do you do as a teacher at Mozaika?

As a second-grade teacher at Mozaika School, which specializes in working with children with special educational needs, I design and conduct adapted lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs. I collaborate with the teacher assistant and other specialists to create individual development programs, providing social and educational support for children with SEN. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where every child can reach their potential and feel confident.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

What inspires me most as a teacher at Mozaika is the opportunity to help children with special educational needs unlock their potential. Watching them overcome challenges, achieve success, and become more confident brings me great satisfaction.

What are the main challenges for a young specialist in this role?

Young specialists often face several challenges. The most important are limited experience and insufficient practical training, which can make adapting to the requirements of inclusive education — where each student needs an individualized approach — more difficult. It is also crucial to establish effective and delicate communication with parents, which requires attention and tact.

Would you recommend Mozaika to young specialists?

I recommend that young specialists consider working at Mozaika. It is a unique place where inclusive education is combined with modern pedagogical approaches, fostering professional growth. Mozaika provides a supportive environment where experienced colleagues help you quickly acquire practical skills, exchange ideas, and develop as a professional, allowing you to grow and achieve new heights in teaching.
