I work at Mozaika School in Karaganda as a teacher in the preparatory class for primary school. I’m 28 years old, and I graduated from the Central Kazakhstan Academy Lingva.
What strengths do you need in your work?
When working with children, patience, a drive for self-improvement, enthusiasm for teaching, and a positive mindset are essential.
What do you do as a preparatory class teacher at Mozaika?
I help children develop the key skills they need for first grade and for successfully engaging with the school program. In the preparatory class, the focus is not only on academic knowledge but also on fostering independence, communication skills, attentiveness, and the ability to work as part of a team. I use play-based methods so that children can learn easily and with interest, gradually mastering reading, numbers, fine motor skills, logical thinking, and social interaction.
What do you like most about your job?
What inspires me most is the learning process itself and the opportunity to observe the children’s progress. When I see their first achievements, I realize that my work truly makes a difference.
What are the main challenges for a young specialist in this role?
At the beginning of a career, it can be difficult to manage lesson time effectively, structure its stages logically, and explain the material clearly. But with experience and the support of colleagues, these challenges are gradually overcome.
